In the quest for and better service delivery, the management of the Bayelsa Health Insurance Scheme (BHIS) has carried out a 5-day capacity building workshop for staff of the office.
The training began from 12th to the 16th of August, 2024.
Declaring the workshop open at the Conference Hall of the Health Insurance House Secretariat Complex, Yenagoa, the Executive Secretary of the Bayelsa Health Insurance Scheme, Dr. Zuoboemi Agadah enjoined staff of the office to utilize the gains derivable from the workshop for the overall success of the scheme.
The Executive Secretary who noted that training of staff in the office has been a regular one stressed that this one which is on workplace values, ethics and attitude was tailored to equip staff of the office with basic concept of workplace in order to develop their right framework and attitude towards work bearing in mind that the office deals with diverse people with different issues concerning their health needs.
On his part, the lead facilitator Barr. Amabie Kingsley who spoke on the team of the workshop “workplace; values, ethics and attitude” noted that work has become a central organizing feature of our society and an important framework through which individuals organize their lives.
