To further improve the quality of healthcare delivery to enrollees, the Bayelsa Health Insurance Scheme (BHIS) organised a one-day training and interactive session for healthcare providers from public and private health facilities across Bayelsa State.
The programme was held on Tuesday, 5th May 2026, at the BHIS Complex, Bayelsa State.
The practical session focused on the effective use of the Scheme’s digital platform to enhance service delivery. Dr. Chinasa Oyadungha highlighted the importance of building capacity in managing key administrative processes, particularly claims processing, to promote efficiency, transparency, and timely service delivery to beneficiaries.
The training also featured an interactive question-and-answer session, providing participants with the opportunity to seek clarifications, address operational challenges, and share valuable insights on improving healthcare delivery.
